On May 16th 2008, the Architecture and Design Days of Copenhagen took place at the Kay Fiskers Plads and bright colorfull light installations led the visitors to the event.
The building beneath the square used to be a monotonous bicycle storage room that had been converted into a contemporary art gallery for the event.
A dancefloor was installed as invited DJs spinned for the event. The idea was to synchonised both the music and the light installations of Lyskastellet in collaboration with Super Light for the duration of the event.
Lyskastellet ornemented Over Vand with glittery jewel-like piece and the nearby Ferring building with futuristic light rays. At the outdoor bar, visitors enjoyed the interactive dj set by the Half Machines as well as the Light installation. The latter consisted of red and green lights that changed according to the trafiic on the Ørestad highway and the metro track. On one side of Kay fiskers Plads, the electro-acoustic duo LIFE feat. Jennifer Dills, spinned for the visitors and the surroundings. During this event, the magazine Wunderland launched a new issue.
